18-05-2007 ~ Kikar's Treasure Hunt Part II |
After months of preparation, Kikar once again invited the guild to take part in his Treasure Hunt. This time there were level 1 Draenei to protect from the level ?? (at least for them) mobs on the way
We met up in Azure Watch and then ran down to Desyus' Landing, where the teams would head off to pick up their first question in intervals of 3 minutes.

Across the Draenei zone and back to Exodar, with the finishing line at the bottom of the Seat of the Naaru:

It was more or less a spontaneous decision to visit Karazhan for the first time with the guild. After everyone had finished their groups for that evening/night, we met at Karazhan to see how far we would get - with no intention of getting very far... which we didn't ;)

Dun Morogh to Ogrimmar with naked gnomes was yesterday... this time it was Night Elfs from Teldrassil to the Dark Portal!
Tall and handsome we lined up to race across Azeroth, knowing exactly what awaited us out there; death, death and more death. But also fun and laughter, challenge and adrenalin.
While some of the players went for the boat to Auberdine, a few remembered that the birds will carry them there without knowledge of the other flight point. And with a head start, that group raced down Darkshore towards Ashenvale Forest. However, getting trough Ashenvale and into Barrens can be quite detrimental to one's health.
 . 
In the end though, we all arrived save and sound at the Dark Portal - only to be chased into the Tainted Scar :-/

Of course, there was no way we would not give Molten Core a go as well! - be it for freshing up old and nearly forgotten memories or for breathing the hot, dry air for the first time.
20 Wangles in total descended deep into the Blackrock Mountains to uncover treasures and sharpen their raiding skills:
I think we can all agree that it was great fun - and a lot easier than expected. No deaths were to be mourned until Garr, and not a single wipe before we came to face Shazzrah instead of Baron Geddon (*oops*). But even so; the last few standing got Shazzrah down from 82% to 22%!
