29-11-2006 ~ Nekkid Gnome Race, Part III |
In record time did our sexy gnomes make it to Ogrimmar, on this chilly November evening!
Start point was Dun Morogh...
... and off we went all the way down to Wetlands, onto the boat in Menethil Harbour and over to Theramore. All but one brave soul, who chose the dangerous path through Stranglethorn Vale
.
Congratulations to Helinxx for getting to the farm next to Ogrimmar first, and to Karnagxx, who made it furthest into Ogrimmar... But a round of applause for Diesalotta (better known as Mevera) as well, who got the prize for dying the most times! - And yes, she was the one who chose the STV-path. But not only that: Diesalotta had a secret plan to overthrow Thrall and take hold of the throne herself! The only thing stopping her was the main tank who meanwhile had gone to bed ;)

And don't miss our first ever video of Wyrd Angles storming Ogrimmar! Watch it here. A big thank you to Yanaya for frapping the last seconds of our too short life.

20-11-2006 ~ Snowe's Hide & Seek |
You take:
- 5 clues, posted throughout the weekend
- a place unknown to 99% of the Azeroth population
And you get:
- Snowe's Hide & Seek event, a search for the unknown
Congratulations to Helin, who found the place first! (While we others were still thinking it was Felwood.... *cough*)

01-11-2006 ~ 1st Guild Quest Night |
Two weeks ago extended maintenance interfered with our first guild quest night, but this week we finally got together for a few hours of questing. Meeting point was the village of Darrowshire in Eastern Plaguelands, where a good dozen WAngles fought the battle together. After picking up some more guild members, we then moved on to slay Nathanos Blightcaller. Unfortunately, 3 horde players decided to give us a hard time, but after some reasoning with them on horde side, they wished us good luck and moved on. And of course, we forgot to take screenies of both the battle and the fight with Nathanos *sigh*.
From there, we formed groups out of the raid to finish off Araj the Summoner. After owning him within seconds and thus finishing two more quests, one group headed to the Bulwark to kill Barov and the other one to Swamp of Sorrows for that demon on the mountain.

Good job everyone, I think many of us got more quests done in these few hours than their average per night!
- The Battle Of Darrowshite; done
- The Order Must Be Restored; done
- Alas, Andorhal; done
- Araj The Summoner; done
- The Last Barov; done
- You Are Rakh'likh, Demon; done

22-10-2006 ~ Kikar's Secret Treasure Hunt |
Another guild event our members have been looking forward to for quite some weeks now: Kikar's Secret Treasure Hunt! A chase across Azeroth, solving riddles and discovering people and places some WAngles have never seen before in their younger levels.
It all started in Northshire Abbey, where high level guild members grouped up with fresh-off-the-character-screen level 1 humans:
Once the Starting positions had been established (by letting the level 1 humans race to Stormwind Birdpoint and back), they set off in pairs with 2-minute intervalls to answer a total of 14 questions.
First to Goldshire to retrieve the first question from the mailbox, then down to Westfall and back to Stormwind by Gryphon. From there the tram to Ironforge, then running down to Dun Morogh, over to Loch Modan and all the way up to Wetlands and Thandol Span where the (naked) high level had to duel the mighty Paladin Kikar. From there it was over to Menethil Harbour for the final race to the King in Ironforge... or who's that impostor sitting on the throne? ;)

Congratulations to everyone for solving the not always easy questions and anagrams. Thank you for attending, it was once again a great experience!
