22-10-2006 ~ Kikar's Secret Treasure Hunt
Another guild event our members have been looking forward to for quite some weeks now: Kikar's Secret Treasure Hunt! A chase across Azeroth, solving riddles and discovering people and places some WAngles have never seen before in their younger levels.

It all started in Northshire Abbey, where high level guild members grouped up with fresh-off-the-character-screen level 1 humans:

Northshire Abbey

Once the Starting positions had been established (by letting the level 1 humans race to Stormwind Birdpoint and back), they set off in pairs with 2-minute intervalls to answer a total of 14 questions.

First to Goldshire to retrieve the first question from the mailbox, then down to Westfall and back to Stormwind by Gryphon. From there the tram to Ironforge, then running down to Dun Morogh, over to Loch Modan and all the way up to Wetlands and Thandol Span where the (naked) high level had to duel the mighty Paladin Kikar. From there it was over to Menethil Harbour for the final race to the King in Ironforge... or who's that impostor sitting on the throne? ;)

The End

Congratulations to everyone for solving the not always easy questions and anagrams. Thank you for attending, it was once again a great experience!

20-10-2006 ~ Bloodlord Mandokir
A very smooth combined Wyrd Angles and Acheron run, with both Snake and Bat Boss going down on the first try. The Raptor Boss has still not been conquered by us, but he doesn't seem as impossible anymore...

28-09-2006 ~ Naked Gnome Race - The Proof!
It has been a chilly Thursday evening, when a group of Gnomlets began - one by one - to pop up out of thin air in the snowy hills of Dun Morogh. Mage Finwie was already there, giving them a warm welcome and a guild tag, ready for the race to begin.

group up and dance! . on my mark... get set... go!

The goal was clear for everyone of them; the big and feared city of Ogrimmar. But why should that scare them? After all, there was a price to win for the first three getting there, and they were not alone... at least not once they got there. The path to Durotar was dark, uninviting and dangerous... and deadly, of course. Stranglethorn Vale, the marshes next to Theramore Island, The Barrens, Darkshore, Ashenvale - so many ways to get there, so many mobs just waiting for a little gnome to munch as dessert.

lonely Gnomlet in Ashenvale

But of course we made it!

big Ogrimmar . mighty Ogrimmar

And yes, we did run as quick as our legs carried us... but obviously not quick enough. The Horde struck us down and soaked the floor of Ogrimmar with our blood and tears.

Pwned!!

... but this is not the end, and we will be back!
